Lornny lives and breathes MTB. Born and raised on The North Shore; Eric witnessed the evolution of our sport from a young age and has been completely immersed in the culture since the days of VHS tapes. The movies from NWD, Kranked, North Shore Extreme, and Superheros provided motivation to ride hard and become a pro rider one day.
Working as a bike mechanic at The Cove to fund his dream, Lornny obsessively perfected his craft at the local jumps he builds, small dirtjump jams, and road-tripping BC with his crew of like-minded friends. Working two jobs in grade 12, he saved enough money to move to Whistler for a summer to ride everyday. That summer was a turning point that kick-started his dreams of traveling the world as a professional Slopestyle athlete.
Eric's passion further evolved to include filming bikes when he was forced to the sidelines for a season. After dislocating his shoulder at an FMB Slopestyle event during his peak performance year; Lornny decided to film his first full-length movie "Alchemy". Chromag supported the film as the title sponsor with zero doubts, knowing his passion and vision of MTB is deep within his core. Filming has become a large part of Eric's vision, and we are embracing it with full force.
